BETTER ALTERNATIVE TO PVA/PVOH/BVOH
Conventional support materials often come with disadvantages when used. They absorb humidity, become sticky, have poor thermal stability and are usually only compatible with a few model materials. This can make handling such filaments considerably more difficult. Our Xioneer VXL filament addresses exactly these problems to make your 3D printing easier.
EASY TO USE
Xioneer VXL 70 ensures a more comfortable printing experience. Due to its alkali-soluble property, it is far less sensitive to humidity. Although dry storage is recommended, the material can easily handle a few days if not stored airtight. This is also the main reason why VXL offers more reliable printing than PVA, PVOH or BVOH. Not only is the risk of a clogged nozzle minimized, but there is also no foaming after extrusion from the nozzle. Adhesion to both the print bed and the model is increased.
WHICH MATERIALS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH Xioneer VXL 70?
After intensive development, our Xioneer VXL filament was tailored to widely used materials in the 3D printing market. Depending on which material you want to print, there is a suitable Xioneer VXL filament. The VXL product range starts with VXL 70. This filament is particularly compatible with materials such as PETG, PVB, TPU, TPC, PCTG, ABS, ASA, HIPS and PA.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
We recommend cooling down the nozzle loaded with VXL 70 during inactivity during printing to avoid thermal decomposition. After the print job is complete, the VXL 70 support material is typically dissolved in lye at a minimum of 40°C. For this purpose we offer the specially developed Xioneer VXL EX or VXL solve, which you can easily add to water in the dissolving bath to reach the required pH-value.
