Plastic filaments tend to absorb moisture from the air. This can be the undoing of your 3D printing. After exiting the nozzle, the melt foams up, the material solidifies porously, the surface quality as well as the adhesion to the print bed is poor. The Xioneer DryBox EZ shields your filament from moisture during storage and keeps it dry for optimal printing.

YOUR PERSONAL FILAMENT DRYING CABINET

Store a selection of filaments and keep them ready for the next print. On the back the DryBox is equipped with 4 outlets for PTFE tubes. This allows the filament to be conveyed directly to the outside without having to be removed from the device. This also allows flexibility if you spontaneously need to change the filament in your printer, when you already have it stored in the DryBox EZ.

Why is a filament dry box so important?

Most FDM 3D filaments are typically hydrophilic, meaning they absorb moisture from the air. Therefore, long exposure to air should be avoided. During your print wet filament can result in various problems, such as stringing, rough surface, low layer bonding, clogging and bad adhesion. The filament dryer is the ideal way to keep your printing material secure from moisture, and keep it ready for use!

Storage for Every Filament 

Set the drying power freely according to your needs. That will keep your filament dry. After long storage, a slight active drying effect may be induced. However, wet filament cannot be cured with this device.
